My students have achieved things such as being offered places at one of the best music schools in the world – Chetham’s School of Music, as well as Distinctions at Grade 8.
What makes me more proud than anything is seeing my students gain enjoyment and enrichment from music. Not everyone wants to take exams or be a professional musician, and that is ok with me. I want to help you reach your musical goals, whatever they may be.
Piano Lessons For Adults
I have a lot of people ask if I teach adults as well as children, the answer to that is yes I do! You are never too old to start your musical journey. Music lessons encourage and foster many skills in a unique way. Skills such as concentration (always useful in our distracted, technological world), and consistency. Little and often goes a long way with music practice. Just fifteen to twenty minutes a day really adds up to big improvements.
I absolutely love teaching my students how to read music, so even if you are an absolute beginner, definitely get in touch! No prior knowledge or musical experience is necessary.
My musical journey began with my father, nagging him to start teaching me the piano when I was four years old! It is in his memory that I set up The Warburton Music Studio, to honour his memory and the joy he brought to so many people through music.
